Define which logged service time can enter invoice preparation

Keep actual activity, internal work and approved client work as distinct fields.

Separate time evidence from billing-preparation eligibility

Synthetic design studio logs six hours: three approved client-task hours, two internal administration hours and one client-task hour awaiting review. Its local preparation rule includes approved client hours only. It therefore offers three hours to invoice preparation, with no rate, invoice or payment supplied.

  1. Read actual time entries
  2. Classify task type
  3. Check client-time approval
  4. Export eligible hours separately

A missing review result stays pending; do not infer approval from the person’s seniority.

The pending one-hour client entry is approved. What changes?

Show the worked answer

Eligible hours become four; actual logged hours remain six. No invoice or payment is established.

Ask the demonstration to reconcile actual and eligible time without erasing excluded or pending entries.
