Make releases and recovery part of the system
Hosting and performance review
Review the application, traffic patterns, current bill and operational bottlenecks. Identify changes to hosting, caching or database usage against the actual workload.
Repeatable releases
Set up separate environments, automated checks and a controlled deployment path. Configuration and secret management are part of the release plan.
Monitoring and recovery
Define the signals that indicate a customer-facing problem. Configure the agreed alerts and backups, and rehearse restoration and rollback against the recovery requirements.
Your deliverables
- Infrastructure review and prioritised change plan
- Environment configuration and deployment workflow
- Monitoring, backup configuration and recovery runbook
Before we scope the work
Share the current architecture, recent incidents, hosting costs and release process. Agree how much downtime and data loss the business can tolerate before selecting the recovery approach.
Project questions
Can you reduce our cloud bill?
We can identify idle resources, unexpected usage and changes worth testing. Any savings estimate follows a review of your actual bill and workload; there is no fixed saving percentage.
Is round-the-clock support included?
Support hours, alert response, escalation and maintenance responsibilities are agreed in the engagement. Monitoring configuration alone does not include a staffed 24-hour service.
