Match a service invoice to accepted task evidence

Use recorded accepted deliverables rather than the supplier’s reported completion count.

Prepare the purchasing decision

Synthetic service PO P-S orders six setup tasks. The supplier report claims all six completed, but the assigned receiver accepts four and leaves two for correction. Invoice I-S claims six tasks. A service receipt record can support four for matching; the report alone cannot create acceptance for the other two.

Complete the recorded outcome

  1. Read ordered deliverables and the named receiver’s criteria.
  2. Locate accepted task evidence distinct from supplier reports.
  3. Match accepted tasks and track correction tasks separately.

A purchasing approval for six tasks is not evidence that those tasks were delivered or accepted.

How many claimed tasks lack accepted receipt support?

Show the worked answer

Two: 6 − 4. They remain correction work, not accepted service or an assumed payment obligation.

Acceptance criteria and task counts are fictional; no legal service-acceptance rule is asserted.
