Enquiries by email or WhatsApp
The contact form prepares a message using the details you enter, which may include your name, email, phone, company, service interest, budget, timing and project description. Selecting email or WhatsApp opens that application. You complete the sending there; filling in the website form alone does not send an enquiry to Astera.
How we use information you send
We use enquiry information to understand your requirements, reply, arrange discussions and prepare proposals. If an engagement proceeds, relevant information is also used for delivery, support, invoicing and record keeping. Do not include passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary personal records in an initial enquiry.
Planning tools and browser preferences
The AI assessment and project brief builder process your answers in the page. Downloaded files contain the answers you chose to include. The launch checklist stores ticked items in your browser; currency preferences may also use browser storage. You can clear these through your browser settings, and the checklist has a clear-ticks action.
Hosting and external services
Cloudflare delivers the website and may process request information such as IP addresses, browser details and requested pages to operate and protect the service. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits and page loading performance. Some fonts and libraries load from external providers. Email and WhatsApp communications are handled through the relevant service providers and their privacy arrangements, which may involve processing outside Hong Kong.
Retention and project data
Information received by Astera is kept for the enquiry, engagement and applicable record-keeping needs. A client project that requires access to personal data should identify the permitted use, access, storage and return or deletion arrangements in its written scope. Ask us about a particular record if you need its retention or deletion arrangements confirmed.
Access, correction and questions
For access to or correction of personal data held by Astera, contact business@asteratek.com and describe the information concerned. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing or changing a record. Requests are handled under applicable Hong Kong personal data requirements. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data about privacy concerns.
Policy changes
This page describes the current website. We will update it when the site’s information handling changes. A separate written project agreement may contain additional arrangements for data supplied during an engagement.
