This policy covers payments to Astera Technology Limited for project services and purchases from Roameo, Omni Finance Academy and HK Tutor Link. Start with the service you purchased. Its product policy and the terms agreed at purchase apply to your order.
Software development and consultancy
Your written quotation or signed project agreement sets out the payment schedule, deposits, milestones, acceptance requirements and cancellation terms. Refund requests are reviewed against those agreed terms.
- To cancel or request a refund, contact us in writing and identify the project and invoice concerned.
- Any refundable amount is assessed against the agreement, work already completed and agreed third-party costs already committed. We explain the calculation in writing.
- A cancellation request does not itself confirm a refund. Existing signed agreements continue to apply.
Ongoing development and maintenance
Our published service offer requires 30 days’ written notice to terminate ongoing development and maintenance. Any engagement-specific arrangements and refund for an unused service period are assessed under the applicable agreement and confirmed in writing.
Roameo travel eSIMs
Roameo’s refund policy includes a connection guarantee and a refund window for plans that have not been installed or activated.
- A full refund is available for an eligible failure to connect within one hour of arrival, using a compatible, unlocked device with data roaming enabled, or a provisioning fault.
- For a plan that has not been installed or activated, request a refund within 30 days of purchase.
- Installed, activated or used plans are generally excluded, except where the connection guarantee applies. Device incompatibility, a carrier lock, incorrect setup and fully expired plans are subject to the exclusions in the full policy.
Omni Finance Academy study materials
Eligibility is based on the purchase date and your progress in the purchased content.
- Request a refund within 14 days of purchase, with no more than 10% of the purchased level’s content completed, as measured by platform progress.
- Bundle and lifetime-tier purchases are non-refundable after 14 days, regardless of usage. Free-tier access has no refundable payment.
HK Tutor Link matching services
Platform fees are payable after successful matching under the matching agreement.
- If a match cannot proceed or exceptional circumstances arise, HK Tutor Link may arrange a partial or full refund at its discretion.
- Contact the platform about your case and refer to the “Payment and Refund Policy” section of its terms for the applicable conditions.

Use the support channel in your product’s policy, or email business@asteratek.com. If you are unsure which service applies, contact Astera and identify the brand or project.

Include the details below so we can locate the payment and understand your request.
- Brand or project name, and order or invoice number
- Purchase date and payment amount
- Account email or the email used for the purchase
- Reason for the request, with relevant supporting details
We review the payment and applicable terms
We may ask for relevant receipts, screenshots or further details. Sending a request is not confirmation of approval.
Receive a written outcome
We confirm the decision, any approved refund amount, the payment method and expected processing timing in writing.
Do not include your full card number, card security code or password.
For a follow-up or a disputed outcome, reply in the same email thread with the order or invoice reference and any additional information you would like us to review.
Refund methods and timing
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method wherever possible. If that method is unavailable, we verify the payment and agree an appropriate alternative with the original payer.

Processing a refund and the money appearing in your account are separate steps. Bank and payment-provider posting times can vary.
Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you believe a payment is duplicated or incorrect, contact us with the payment reference, date and amount so we can investigate.
