Define shared-package eligibility
Synthetic rule: package F-P has four available sessions and explicitly permits listed members M-F1 and M-F2. Each participant uses one session. An unlisted guest cannot use the package merely because they are in the same booking. Changes to the allowed member list require a separate decision.
| Participant | Listed member | Proposed source | Decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| M-F1 | Yes | F-P: 1 unit | Hold 1 |
| M-F2 | Yes | F-P: 1 unit | Hold 1 |
| Guest G-F | No | F-P: 1 unit | Reject this source |
Associate usage with both attendee and package
- Check the permitted-member list effective for this booking.
- Create separate allocations for M-F1 and M-F2.
- Resolve the guest’s entitlement separately and show F-P’s remaining quantity.
Do not rename the guest as a listed member to make the package pass; correct identity first.
After the two eligible participants are confirmed, how much is available in F-P?
Show the worked answer
4 - 1 - 1 = 2 available, with two held. The guest has no F-P allocation.
If one participant cancels, return that participant’s held line to F-P; do not change the other attendee’s status.
