Specify which rights can move
Synthetic rule: participant substitution is allowed before 12:00, excluding 12:00 itself, but personal package sessions are non-transferable in this example. The outgoing participant’s held session returns under the agreed substitution policy. The incoming participant must provide their own eligible session before the replacement becomes confirmed.
| Line | Person | Entitlement | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outgoing | M-S1 | P-S1: 1 held | Return to P-S1 after accepted swap |
| Incoming | M-S2 | P-S2: 0 available | Replacement pending |
| Alternate incoming | M-S3 | P-S3: 2 available | Eligible; hold 1 if chosen |
Complete the replacement only with eligible funding
- Check request time, booking rule and incoming member identity.
- Confirm the incoming participant’s own eligible session source.
- Replace the named line and settle both old and new allocations together.
If funding is unresolved, retain the outgoing confirmed line unless the person separately cancels it.
Can M-S2 inherit P-S1’s held session because the place stays the same?
Show the worked answer
No. Place continuity does not change the personal package rule. M-S3 could use one of their two sessions if selected.
Record old and new participant IDs so attendance and messages follow the accepted replacement.
