Check the missed customer work after a defect is fixed

A new successful run does not automatically repair earlier incomplete outputs.

Reconcile original missing outcomes

Synthetic defect D-211 is repaired and new execution E-214 completes. Earlier outputs E-211 and E-212 lacked required rows; E-213 was already correct. The fixture requires separate correction dispositions for those historical outputs. E-211 has been reissued and verified, E-212 is pending. Restoring the current action does not silently update files already delivered to customers.

Close current repair and historical work separately

  1. Verify current failing action is restored
  2. List earlier incomplete outputs
  3. Record each required correction
  4. Close when historical dispositions are complete

Do not recreate already-correct E-213 solely because it falls in the affected date range; inspect its actual result.

How many historical outputs still require correction?

One: E-212. E-211 has a verified correction and E-213 was already correct; E-214’s success does not settle E-212.

Retain a disposition for every earlier incomplete output. Do not regenerate already-correct files merely because a newer run succeeded.
