Choose a support remedy that fits the customer’s required output

Compare output and task constraints before recommending a technically working alternative.

Keep the required outcome in the choice

Synthetic T-161 needs an offline file containing agreed rows A and B. Option V is an online-only view; option E is a verified download with A and B; option P is an untested proposal. The customer cannot use an online view for this task, so V is not a usable remedy even if it displays the data correctly. Choose E only after the customer can use its output; P remains a candidate, not a solution.

Verify suitability and then outcome

  1. Read customer output requirement
  2. Compare tested alternatives
  3. Reject unmet task constraints
  4. Check usable remedy with customer

Do not label a candidate “resolved” because a staff member can complete a different task with it.

Which option is a verified candidate for the stated offline task?

Show the worked answer

E. V fails the offline requirement and P is untested. E still needs the customer outcome check before closure.

Keep output requirements with the remedy choice. A tested alternative still needs evidence that the customer can complete the required task.
