Match each result to the intended recipient
AWS SES documents recipient lists for delivery and bounced-recipient details for bounces. Synthetic message N-342 targets three confirmed contacts: customer coordinator A, billing contact B and internal owner C. A has mail-server delivery evidence, B has a permanent bounce and C has no result. The local record must not mark all three delivered because one delivery arrived. A transport outcome also does not decide whether the customer accepted the order change.
| Recipient role | Evidence | Recorded outcome | Business follow-up |
|---|---|---|---|
| A: coordinator | Delivery includes A | Mail-server delivery | Await required customer decision |
| B: billing contact | Permanent bounce for B | B failed; address review required | Obtain corrected confirmed endpoint |
| C: internal owner | No result for C | Unresolved | Check evidence or staff notification need |
Reconcile recipients before closing the notification task
- Read intended recipient set
- Match recipient-scoped results
- Keep unresolved results visible
- Assign necessary follow-up
No result is not a failed result. A permanent bounce is not an instruction to retry the same endpoint blindly.
How many recipients have proven mail-server delivery in N-342?
Show the worked answer
One: A. B failed and C is unresolved. Do not report three deliveries or infer any customer acceptance.
The SES recipient fields are documented facts; the local task and contact roles are synthetic. No messaging connection or live delivery test has been executed.
