Define reactivation as an effective state change
Synthetic membership reactivates on 19 Oct at 09:00, ending its freeze at that instant. A session start before 09:00 is ineligible; one at or after 09:00 may pass membership timing, subject to package validity and booking availability. Reactivation creates no package sessions and revives no cancelled bookings.
| Record | Time / state | Membership result | Booking result |
|---|---|---|---|
| New B-Ra1 | 19 Oct 08:59 | Still frozen at start | Reject membership eligibility |
| New B-Ra2 | 19 Oct 09:00 | Reactivated at start | May confirm after other checks |
| Old B-Ra0 | Already cancelled | Membership active now | Remains cancelled |
Apply the effective boundary once
- Record the reactivation decision and effective timestamp.
- Close the freeze interval at 09:00 without editing its historical start.
- Evaluate new requests using the resulting membership interval and package records.
An early return request does not alter the freeze until its effective change is accepted and recorded.
Does B-Ra2 require a new session grant because membership resumed?
Show the worked answer
No. It needs an existing eligible session source. Reactivation only changes membership timing; it does not issue entitlement.
Keep the decision time and effective time separate when reactivation is approved in advance.
