Relocate a booking only to a room that meets its requirements

Check facilities and location constraints instead of accepting any room with space.

Record the required room characteristics

Synthetic booking B-L requires step-free access and equipment E at branch North. Room size and availability have already been checked separately. A room change within that branch and meeting both features may proceed under this example’s agreed rule; a branch change requires the customer’s choice.

Resolve suitability before updating directions

  1. Read explicit booking requirements and original branch.
  2. Verify features and availability of the proposed room from operational records.
  3. Save the accepted room change and update directions and staff arrival lists.

An unknown feature is not a pass; verify it before marking the alternate room suitable.

Can R-L2 be used because it has equipment E?

Show the worked answer

No. It fails the step-free requirement. R-L1 meets both recorded features at the required branch.

Keep the reason and old/new room IDs; attendees should receive the final usable directions rather than the internal candidate list.
