Identify the intended occurrence from evidence
Synthetic member M-W has two confirmed sessions on the same day. A front-desk scan at 09:55 was attached to the 14:00 session, while staff evidence confirms arrival for 10:00. Neither attendance settlement has closed. Void the wrong check-in, accept the correct one and retain both booking records.
| Record | Before | Correction | After |
|---|---|---|---|
| B-W10 / 10:00 | Confirmed; no check-in | Accept 09:55 arrival evidence | Checked in |
| B-W14 / 14:00 | Wrongly checked in | Void scan C-W1 | Confirmed; not attended yet |
| Package allocation | 1 held for each booking | No settlement yet | 2 held in total |
Correct check-in identity before settling usage
- Match member, occurrence and actual arrival evidence.
- Void the mistaken check-in with its original reference.
- Create the corrected check-in for B-W10 and leave B-W14 open for its own attendance.
If usage has already settled, reconcile its linked consumption before correcting; this pre-close example does not automatically reverse a completed ledger.
Does moving the check-in cancel the afternoon booking or return its held session?
Show the worked answer
No. It removes only the erroneous attendance evidence. The afternoon booking remains confirmed with one held session.
Keep the original scan and correction link so two apparent check-in records cannot be counted as two attendances.
