Specify whole-party acceptance
Synthetic rule: offer W-P covers exactly two named participants and must be accepted as a whole before 15:00. Each participant needs one valid session. A response for only one person is incomplete and creates no confirmed booking. Changing the party requires a new offer decision, outside this workflow.
| Participant | In W-P | Entitlement | Response at 14:50 |
|---|---|---|---|
| M-P1 | Yes | P-1: 1 available | Accept |
| M-P2 | Yes | P-2: 2 available | No answer yet |
| Offer result | Two-person offer | Both eligible | Incomplete; no booking |
Confirm only the offered composition
- Match the response to both participant IDs and the unexpired offer.
- Require complete acceptance and validate both entitlement sources.
- If complete, create two participant lines and hold one session from each source.
Do not turn one answer into an assumed answer for the other person; retain the offer only until its original expiry.
M-P2 accepts at 14:55. What are the new available balances after confirmation?
Show the worked answer
P-1 becomes zero and P-2 becomes one, with one held from each. If M-P2 never answers before 15:00, both balances remain unchanged.
Party acceptance concerns response completeness; selecting which party receives an offer is a separate capacity decision.
