Correct a shared extension from a staff contact to a team contact

Represent a team-owned contact once without copying it onto every staff entry.

Read the supplied contact purpose

Synthetic extension EX47 is owned by reception team T47, shared by S47/S48, not a personal extension. Directory mistakenly marks it as S47 personal. Supplied correction removes the personal relation and creates one T47 contact relation; staff entries may reference T47. No phone-service change is performed.

Correct relationship type

  1. Verify EX47 team-purpose source
  2. End mistaken personal relation
  3. Create T47 shared contact
  4. Check staff entries reference team

Do not mark both staff as owners of the same personal extension to compensate for the wrong type.

How many team contact records and personal extension relations result?

The correction changes directory meaning rather than the telephone number. Keep EX47’s stable contact identity and the original source decision.
