Separate achievement and file identity
Synthetic S24 has internal achievement ACH4. File F4 had a print-name typo. Verified replacement F5 refers ACH4 and explicitly supersedes F4. Local administration keeps one achievement and one current file; it does not create a second completed course.
| File | Achievement | Disposition |
|---|---|---|
| F4 | ACH4 | Superseded by F5 |
| F5 | ACH4 | Current |
Record the replacement relation
- Verify F5 subject and ACH4
- Record F5→F4 replacement
- Mark F4 historical
- Keep one ACH4 result
A file with a different achievement ID is not a replacement under this rule.
How many achievements and current files result?
Show the worked answer
One achievement and one current file F5. Two retained files preserve history, not two achievements.
Count one achievement
| Case | Action or result | Evidence boundary |
|---|---|---|
| CountF4/F5 as two completed courses | Reject | SameACH4 |
| Retain F4 historical/F5 current | Accept | Replacement supplied |
Keep the replacement source reference so a future copy can be traced.
