Prepare the purchasing decision
Synthetic V-C is approved for packaging but not installation services. Purchase P-C1 requests packaging; P-C2 requests installation. P-C3 mixes both. The local rule evaluates each purchasing category separately, so an approved goods line does not clear a service line. This is an internal eligibility decision, not a professional certification.
| Purchase | Category | Supplier status | Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| P-C1 | Packaging | Approved for category | Category check passes |
| P-C2 | Installation | Not approved | Review supplier choice |
| P-C3 | Packaging + installation | Only packaging approved | Do not clear the whole order |
Complete the recorded outcome
- Classify each requested line’s category.
- Compare it with the supplier’s recorded approval scope.
- Hold unsupported categories for a specific eligibility decision.
A past purchase from V-C is not evidence of approval for every future category.
Can P-C3 pass because one category is approved?
Show the worked answer
No. Packaging passes this check; installation remains unresolved. Other order approval checks are also separate.
Keep the category version used for the decision so a later supplier-profile edit does not erase the earlier basis.
