Fix the unit cost before allocating
Synthetic service requires three session units per booking. Two valid packages may combine their available units; partial funding does not confirm the booking. Session units are entitlements, not hours or money. The operator must agree this combination rule before using the workflow.
| Package | Available before | Allocated to B-M | Available after |
|---|---|---|---|
| P-M1 | 2 | 2 held | 0 |
| P-M2 | 4 | 1 held | 3 |
| Booking B-M | Requires 3 units | 2 + 1 = 3 | Confirmed |
Keep each contributing allocation
- Read the service cost and eligible package balances.
- Choose contributions totalling three and verify all source packages.
- Record both held lines against B-M; settle or reverse each line together.
If only two eligible units exist, leave the booking unconfirmed and preserve both units; do not hold a misleading partially confirmed reservation.
An eligible cancellation of B-M returns how many units to each package?

Return two to P-M1 and one to P-M2. A single three-unit return to P-M2 would alter package ownership and expiry exposure.
The customer-facing session statement needs the required units and allocation split so the deduction can be understood.
