Hand over completed batches while the next batch is still being prepared

Identify released batch boundaries so downstream work can proceed without pretending the entire input set is complete.

Record readiness by batch identity

The synthetic project has two ten-record batches, BA and BB. BA is checked and handed over; BB still lacks its source references. The agreed process allows independent review of each batch, but final assembly requires both. This is a supplied work split, not permission to skip missing evidence.

Release a batch, not the whole project

  1. Check BA identity and completeness
  2. Issue BA handoff record
  3. Assign BA review
  4. Keep BB evidence task open
  5. Assemble only after both reviews

If records cross batch boundaries, stop independent review until the split is revised; the assumed independence no longer holds.

Ten records can move to review while the other ten remain in preparation. Final completion stays pending. Keep each batch’s handoff and review result so a later full-set status does not hide an unfinished batch.

BA review is finished but BB still lacks references. How many records are review-complete, and may assembly start?

Show the worked answer

Ten are review-complete. Assembly cannot start because the other ten in BB are not ready.
