Use a harmless task to check transfer
Synthetic training uses fake booking TRAIN-6 at 15:00 in Maple room, with an empty note and an authorised test staff account. This role may edit the note but not the time or room. Staff practise finding it, editing the note and passing a rejected request to the assigned support owner. No real customer action is authorised.
| Receiving task | Practice input | Evidence of learning | Owner/material |
|---|---|---|---|
| Locate booking | TRAIN-6 and test search | Trainee finds the exact record without trainer clicking | Trainer; search walkthrough |
| Edit permitted note | TRAIN-6: 15:00, Maple, empty note; set note “bring sample card” | Note becomes “bring sample card”; time stays 15:00 and room stays Maple | Process owner; role-aware guide |
| Handoff rejection | Synthetic missing-field request | Staff identify owner and provide relevant case reference | Support owner; handoff example |
Attendance is different from task completion
All staff attended the session, but the trainer performed every click. Is task transfer demonstrated?
Show the worked answer
No. Attendance is recorded, but receiving-task evidence is absent. Arrange a trainee-led harmless exercise and note where the guide or practice needs improvement.
This is a training plan, not a competency certificate or a promise every learner will succeed. Use authorised test data and the actual permitted staff tasks.
