Count the reviewing work, not just meetings
Original synthetic window: Mei has two hours on Tuesday for reviews. The data sample needs 90 minutes and bilingual page review needs 60 minutes. These are invented effort assumptions, not measured rates.
| Review | Required reviewer/time | Available window | Planning result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data sample | Mei; 90 minutes | Tuesday shared 120 minutes | Fits alone; consumes 90 |
| Bilingual page context | Mei; 60 minutes | Same Tuesday 120 minutes | Combined demand 150 exceeds 120 by 30 |
| Potential reassignment | Ren can review English only in fixture | Ren has 60 minutes; zh-HK still Mei | Review actual split before assuming full relief |
Do not double-book a decision owner
Can both original reviews finish inside Mei’s two-hour window without a changed plan?
Show the worked answer
No. 90 + 60 = 150 minutes, 30 more than 120. Prioritise, extend the window or agree an appropriate reassignment; Ren’s English availability does not automatically cover Chinese review.
This is a small capacity check for supplied assumptions, not a project scheduling optimiser. Unexpected work, different skill levels and interruptions require a revised plan.
