Release one fulfillment hold while another stays active

Keep each hold’s issuer and state before reporting the release gate.

Every hold needs its own disposition

The original F1 ledger has H-address from the address reviewer and H-choice from the order owner. Both are active. Any active hold makes this gate held; with no active holds but an unknown one, it is unknown; with every hold resolved, it is clear. A clear hold gate does not itself establish that every dispatch prerequisite is met.

Resolve one reason without erasing another

The baseline gate is held by both reasons. Resolve H-address: H-choice still holds F1. If both are resolved the hold gate clears, while the rest of the dispatch process still has its separate readiness checks. No reservation quantity changes in this ledger.

  1. List each hold and issuer
  2. Record reason-level results
  3. Retain active and unknown holds
  4. Report this gate only

One resolved reason supplies no authority to override an external system hold.

H-address is resolved but H-choice stays active. Is the hold gate clear?

Show the worked answer

No. H-choice remains the active blocking hold.

Prepare an exception-state brief

The full material includes both-active, one-resolved and remaining-unknown cases. A custom operations brief can specify reason identities, responsible decisions and the distinct dispatch readiness gate.

If H-address is resolved and H-choice is null, the gate is unknown, not clear. The model supports at most 30 distinct reason IDs and supplied issuer names. It never decides fraud risk, approval authority, contractual rights or whether a system hold may be overridden.

Use the reservation-release owner for stock quantities. Use the external cancellation-request example when another service controls whether its accepted work stops.
