Records and local rule
Original receipt P200 is bank-confirmed at HKD 200 but payer/reference is unresolved. Candidate C1 has a 200 bill and C2 another 200 bill. Equal amounts are not identity evidence. Local policy keeps the receipt unapplied until confirmed remittance links establish payer and target.
| Record | Amount | Identity evidence |
|---|---|---|
| P200 receipt | 200 | Payer unknown |
| C1 bill | 200 | No remittance link |
| C2 bill | 200 | No remittance link |
Process the recorded case
- Record the confirmed receipt
- Open payer/reference investigation
- Keep candidate bills unchanged
- Allocate only after identity and instruction are confirmed
A matching amount alone cannot select C1 rather than C2 or mark either bill paid.
