Check whether probes cover the whole tested journey

Compare observed path edges with a required journey rather than its landing screen.

Define the required edge set

Synthetic journey requires edges sign-in→list, list→detail and detail→confirm. Probe P1 tests the first two; P2 repeats list→detail. Passing any tested edge says nothing about detail→confirm. Measure coverage by distinct required edges.

Compare probe paths

  1. List required edges once
  2. Union observed edges
  3. Subtract observed from required

A probe name without its executed edges cannot establish coverage.

What fraction of required edges is observed?

Show the worked answer

Two of three, about 66.67%. There are three probe-edge executions but only two distinct required edges.

Retain the executed path and result for the last edge. A newly written probe configuration alone has not produced that evidence.
