Work with the example
Are these proof labels exactly the same as their originals? C uses EXACT(A5;B5); D describes the result. B6 has a trailing space after Room 2. A7/B7 are the same supplied Chinese label.
| Original | Review | EXACT |
|---|---|---|
| RevA | reva | FALSE |
| Room 2 | Room 2 + trailing space | FALSE |
| 原稿 | 原稿 | TRUE |
Edit the working cells
Change B5 to RevA: C5 becomesTRUE. A fresh B7="原稿 " givesFALSE because of the added space. Read the complete strings in the formula bar where an ending space may be hard to see.
Check the failure case
The ordinary comparison =A5=B5 returnsTRUE for baseline RevA/reva in Calc, while EXACT returnsFALSE. Neither equality test establishes identity, approval or translation meaning.
Does FALSE prove that the review text is wrong?

No. It proves a string difference; a person still decides whether the intended wording changed.
