Meet the Founder
Isaac Ho
Founder & CTO · 10+ Years Experience
Isaac is a software engineer and entrepreneur based in Hong Kong with over a decade of experience building products across fintech, education, e-commerce, and enterprise software. He has worked with teams ranging from 2-person startups to multinational corporations, and has personally shipped dozens of products from concept to production.
His technical expertise spans full-stack development (React, Node.js, Python, Go), AI/LLM integration, cloud architecture (AWS, GCP), and DevOps. But what he enjoys most is translating complex technical concepts into business language that founders and executives can act on — which is why he founded Astera as a CTO-as-a-Service company, not just another dev shop.
Isaac is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and deeply understands the Hong Kong business environment — from PDPO compliance to local payment integrations to the nuances of designing bilingual user experiences.
How We Work
We operate as a core team + trusted expert network. Your engagement is led by Isaac and a dedicated project manager, with a squad of 2–4 engineers assigned to your project. Design, DevOps, and QA specialists plug in as needed, so you're not paying for idle capacity.
The same team stays with you across milestones, which means context and muscle memory compound instead of resetting every month. That's the real difference between an agency and a trusted technical partner.
